  .jpg)  | For quite some time now, a number of us in the UK music scene have been discussing the prospect of pooling our expertise in the industry in an effort to provide the country with an organised means of youth outreach via live music. Our hope was to see throngs of teenagers surrendering their lives to Jesus at these events and ensuring that local church involvement would guarantee follow up and long-term discipleship. Inevitably the talk translated into action and in April of this year, 150 Fest was formed. The aim of 150fest is to make it possible for event organisers and youth fellowships to stage a professional Christian music event at an affordable cost. We feel that Christian music should be excellent in performance, sound and lighting in order to give a memorable overall experience - dedicated Christian bands combined with professional stage lighting and sound all-working together with the best sound engineers and lighting crew and at a cost that is affordable. 150fest hopes to stage shows across the UK and expand these shows to a new Jesus-centered music festival. YOU can play a part in this new Christian music outreach opportunity. Let the music build the bridge between the unreached and your church/organization.We very much hope that you will consider staging one of our 150fest gigs in 2012 for your church or youth ministry. Our aim is simple, to proclaim the message of the Gospel to as many young people as possible through the media of music. HOW TO STAGE A LEG OF THE TOUR PROMOTERS / PARTNERING ORGANISATIONS PROVIDE A suitable venue with good stage and easy access for loading equipment Crew: We need about 4 - 6 people for loading and unloading equipment Merchandise Staff. We need 2 people to staff the merchandise stall Marketing and Promotion of the show around surrounding area A light meal for band(s) and crew before the doors open 150 FESTIVAL WILL PROVIDE High calibre headline and support bands High quality sound system Professional lighting rig with static and moving head lights Haze machines for on stage smoke effects Sound and lighting engineers Sample promotional materials SUPPORT BAND(S) The cost of staging a show include headline and support bands. If however there is a Christian band in your area who could help with finding your audience, we are happy for that band to take part in the show if their music compliments the headline act. COST OF STAGING A SHOW We can provide you with a 150 concert for the cost of £400. We can do the show at this very low cost because we own the sound and lighting systems. You can sell tickets at a price that you consider suitable for your target audience. If you make a profit on the door, we would ask that the profit is spilt 50/50 with 150 Festivals. The £400 is a rock bottom no profit price for 150 Festivals. OUR AIM Our main aim is the furtherance of the Gospel to young people through the media of music for the Glory of Jesus Christ.
